At AIS Eurelo, we work with customers in a wide array of industrial sectors, throughout Europe, moving machines, equipment and assets, to new locations – across borders where required – with the help of our expert team and our wholly-owned fleet of lifting equipment and vehicles.
For many of our projects, we have a similar remit and our customers often know exactly what they need from us, but our experience doesn’t just inform what we do; it also tells us that no two projects are ever the same. We need to approach every single job as a bespoke requirement.
That’s why we always carry out a site survey for every project, giving us an opportunity to understand your site, your operational requirements, your health and safety protocols and your goals.
What’s involved in a site survey from AIS Eurelo?
Our site surveys are an opportunity for us to engage with your team and get to know your site so that we can identify any challenges involved in your project and capitalise on any opportunities to reduce disruption or costs in the way we plan and programme your project.
Our team will meet with yours to discuss your brief and understand it in a wider context, understanding potentially critical factors such as:
- Deadlines
- Planned shutdown periods
- Health and safety protocols
- Staff, skills and experience involved in the project from your team
- Access, ingress and egress
- Storage facilities
- Site layout and topography
- Wider project considerations, such as the arrival of new equipment or availability of new locations
In addition to gathering information from your team and sharing information from ours, site surveys also give us the opportunity to visually inspect any locations, machines and equipment involved in the project. This means that we can build a full picture of what’s required, including any challenges, so that we can offer you a proposal with a best fit approach to providing the right equipment, vehicles and personnel.
It also provides you with an opportunity to ask us any questions you may have about our service delivery, what you can expect from our team or any technical queries about our equipment or health and safety provision.
Collaborating for a successful outcome
At AIS Eurelo, we don’t just work for our clients; we also work with our clients, collaborating with you to ensure the most successful outcome for your project. That collaboration begins with the site survey and it sets in motion a partnership between your team and ours that enables everyone involved to understand roles and responsibilities and work together to achieve the same goals, aligned to a shared plan.
