Promens Zlín engaged AIS Eurelo to provide cross-border relocation expertise to dismantle, remove, and relocate a 35-tonne press machine. The project required specialist heavy lifting, as the press was oversized, and careful planning to seamlessly move this machine from the EU to Turkey, a non-EU territory.

Managing the varied compliance, customs, and paperwork requirements was crucial to the project’s success and was meticulously planned to limit the risk of potential hold-ups. The AIS Eurelo team arranged customs clearance for the project, dealt with all required documentation, and arranged the relevant permissions for their experts to be on site.
Thanks to AIS Eurelo’s specialist equipment and heavy-lifting credentials, the team relocated the large, oversized machine with ease. The press was moved using oversized transport and a 90-tonne capacity crane for lifting. At the Turkish site, the team reassembled and relocated the press using a special auto crane and skates to make working within the site’s tight spaces easier.
Successful disconnection, reinstallation, and recommissioning were critical steps in the project programme. AIS Eurelo’s Mechanical and Electrical team used their expertise in technical compliance across the two international locations to ensure the machine was disconnected and reconnected efficiently and safely. Adherence to health and safety regulations in both countries was always assured.
