We were commissioned as the principal CDM contractor of a ten month, £4.2m project for the removal of 83 heavy blanking and forming presses for export to China.
Our scope of works included:
- Removal of all tool room machinery
- Full isolation and lock off procedure
- Removal of all assembly cells including all robots and tooling
- Site-wide handling of all dismantled equipment for packing and shipping
- Site wide safety that exceeded ‘Ford’ standards
- Dismantling and removal of 83 presses
- Full project management with more than 80 operatives on site at its peak
- Deployment of 450T Hydraulic Gantry, 400T Hydraulic Gantry, Versa Lift and a Container Reach Stacker
